Who is moving to the City’s many revitalizing neighborhoods? We don’t always have an easy way of answering that question, but a recent review of the documents of two downtown condo projects gives us a glimpse:
Previous addresses of the buyers were disclosed for a total of 115 sales. Seventy-eight percent of 115 individuals and families purchasing the new homes moved to the City from other parts of the region or other parts of the country — 25 percent from other places in the country, including California, Georgia and New York; and 53 percent from other places in the region, including Chesterfield, Des Peres, and Florissant.
It isn’t quite science, but it is very interesting.
