Today has been a very busy day at City Hall - and the past week was an important one in Jefferson City. I’ll bring you up to date over the weekend.

Meanwhile, did you know?

  • St. Louis Testing Laboratories is expanding its facilities on Clark Street in the industrial area west of Jefferson and will add five new employees as a result of the expansion. The expansion will also allow the company to remain in the City.

  • Kirberg Roofing will rehabilitate a portion of the former Nooter Boiler complex as the company’s headquarters office and warehouse facility. The company is relocating from the CORTEX area and will retain seventy-five employees in the City.

  • The former St. Louis Army Ammunition site, now owned by the St. Louis Development Corporation, looks very different now that demolition of all of the existing buildings has been completed. The site is no longer recognizable for the "building with wings" at the corner of I-70 and Goodfellow, but the demolition paves the way for the site’s reuse as a major retail facility.

  • Its owners have some interesting plans for the historic old American Brake Building on North Broadway.
