Later today, I plan to present a Mayor's Spirit of St. Louis Award to Switch, a city-based agency that "creates and produces experiential marketing programs for clients worldwide, specializing in live events, field marketing, sponsorship activation, digital media, exhibits and environments."


Since 2007, Switch had operated out of three offices in the City: in St. Louis Marketplace, on South 6th Street, and on West Park Avenue. In December, Switch consolidated all of its creative, production and storage resources into the St. Louis Marketplace location and expanded the existing 66,420-square-foot office by an additional 30,000 square feet to accommodate Switch's 100+ employees.

For that expansion (and for their great work on behalf of their clients, it will be my pleasure to bring them the award and tour their new facility.

(The Spirit Award program is administered by the St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC), the economic development agency for the City of St. Louis. SLDC provided site location assistance to the Switch project.)
