Here’s an update on an item I mentioned over the weekend:

The two little wooden houses 4242 and 4244 N 19th Street have survived once again. The Preservation Board did not hear an appeal to overturn the CRO’s staff denial of a demolition permit, because the appellant did not attend Monday’s meeting. No proposals to re-hab or re-use the buildings were presented either.

According to a memo, the entire meeting ran four and a half hours.
