The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s Anti-Crime Task Force reports to Deputy Chief Stephen Pollihan, who oversees the City’s Community Policing effort. The task force’s commander is Lieutenant Edward Kuntz. Both officers do a tough job well.

Between January 1, 2005, and May 31, 2005, the task force reported the following results:

  • 355 arrests, which included 348 separate felony charges
  • 137 recovered vehicles
  • 12 recovered weapons

    Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce made cases on the primary charges out of 163 of these arrests.
