Les Sterman is resigning from the East-West Gateway Council of Governments, the region’s two-state planning organization to take up a new challenge. Les has been with the agency for three decades — and has certainly earned a change of scenery.
I have liked working with Les, who added passion to planning and rigor to visioning. He worked in decimal points, but he used language eloquently.
Les lives downtown, and treats its sidewalk cafes as his own salon. If you see him this weekend, congratulate him on a job well done.
