At my press conference with Jack Danforth this morning, I mentioned that Downtown St. Louis will soon have 110,000 people who work or live there. That means that, for much of the day and for some of the night, our Downtown (which you can walk across in about 20 minutes) is larger than almost every city in the state. Only KC, Independence, Springfield, Columbia (during the school year), and the City itself are bigger.
It is an observation I have made to Schnucks Markets’ Craig Schnuck and to Straub’s Paul Poe. And to others . . .
