St. Louis aldermen have perfected (a legislative term that means “finalized the wording of”) a bill that will make most indoor spaces in the City more pleasant — and healthier — places to dine, drink, bowl, visit, etc. Some of the City’s smallest businesses will have some extra time to comply, but the overall improvement will be substantial. The City’s ordinance will go into effect shortly after County voters pass a less restrictive bill next month.
This is a positive step that I support. When the bill comes to my desk, I will sign it.
