Some of the best athletes in the world — including the four top-ranked players in the sport — will be in Forest Park in two weeks, September 1-6, for the US Open USTA Wheelchair Tennis Championships. This is the 30th edition tournament, but its first visit to St. Louis. The local host is the Gateway Confluence Wheelchair Sports Association.

If you have not visited the historic Dwight Davis Tennis Center since its renovation as part of the Forest Park Master Plan, the opportunity to watch first-rate international tennis ought to inspire you to do so.
