Super Tuesday is not a national holiday. But it is a national moment. Since 1988, the candidates who won the most states on this day have eventually become their respective party's nominees.

The elections since 1988 have featured some very clear choices: taxes, jobs, Hope, war, hope.

The choice in 2016 seems to be this:  Must we strive to make America great again? Or, should we acknowledge that America has never stopped being great, and instead strive to make America whole again?

Voters, the most important citizens, will decide.
