From the St. Louis Public Library Foundation:

A study ranking the nation’s top library systems named the St. Louis Public Library the number two urban library in the country. Library Director Waller McGuire noted that this is the fourth straight year the St. Louis Public Library has been named as one of the top three public libraries in the country.

The comprehensive report was conducted by Central Connecticut State University (CCSU) in collaboration with the Center for Public Policy and Social Research.
