The St. Louis region will acknowledge its proud tradition as the nation’s best beer brewer this week as seven St. Louis breweries gather in Forest Park on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday for the first annual St. Louis Brewers Heritage Festival.
The participating brewers will include Anheuser-Busch, Alendale Brewery, Augusta Brewery, Morgan Street Brewery, O’Fallon Brewery, Schlafly Beer, and Square One Brewery.
St. Louis area restaurants will be on hand to help samplers pair more than 50 styles of beer to the appropriate culinary fare.
Each session (Thursday and Friday, 6 pm -10 pm; Saturday, noon - 4 pm & 6 pm -10 pm) will cost $25 per person.
To promote public safety, you are strongly urged to drink responsibly if you attend the festival - and not to drink and drive, no matter where you go. Laclede Cab will offer free cab rides from the festival entrance as part of its Alert Program. Representatives of the Missouri Division of Alcohol & Tobacco Control will be on hand to verify festival-goers’ IDs.
