Via the Operations Director, to City employees:

Please be advised, the National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for St. Louis City and County. The warning is in effect from 6 p.m. this evening until 6 p.m. Thursday. Snow is predicted with possible accumulations of 4-6".

If we do get the predicted snowfall, we will make an announcement on all the local media (television, radio, Internet) during the early morning broadcasts tomorrow that all City offices will be allowed to go to a skeleton crew/reduced staff for tomorrow, Thursday January 7th. Please check your local television and radio stations first thing tomorrow morning beginning at 4:00 a.m. If we do go to a reduced staff level, please remember that all offices and departments are expected to be open for business during normal hours. If we do not get the expected snowfall and the roads are not hazardous, all staff should report to work as usual for normal operations.
