SLATE, the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment, will host a two-hour event on Wednesday, September 22, to help professionals interesting in finding local jobs in IT. The event will take place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the United Way of Greater St. Louis, 910 N. 11th Street, St. Louis, MO 63101. Admission is free but SLATE asks that attendees first register and create a profile at www.MissouriCareerSource.com.

Attendees will learn about Unisys Corporation's IT project currently underway in downtown St. Louis. Presenter Kurt Gerstner, Vice-President Unisys Application Modernization Center of Excellence (AMCOE), will devote one of the two hours to a Q&A session and provide his expert insight into the current state of IT in the St. Louis area.

Parking is $1 (quarters only) and located at the intersection of Cole and Hadley Streets, directly across from the St. Louis Post Dispatch on the Cole Street side.
