Lumiere Place is a new $495 million entertainment complex scheduled to open later this year on the St. Louis riverfront. Its casino, hotels, retail operations, and physical plant will require hundreds of new employees, including what its official talent manager has called "the hundred-eighty best looking St. Louisans."
That's why owner Pinnacle Entertainment Inc., and the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment hosted a job fair on Friday at St. Louis Community College (Forest Park) to identify candidates for positions in casino operations, IT, security, customer service, sales, food and beverage, maintenance, and housekeeping.
MayorSlay.com doesn't know how many of the 180 lookers were identified, but we did hear that more than 2,000 people stopped by to check out the opportunities in all areas of the project.
