The Pink Sisters, the City's most accomplished intercessors for actions requiring divine intervention, are planning to add a new wing to their convent in the College Hill neighborhood. To help defray some of the $3 million cost of the expansion, the nuns have begun selling pink (and gray) sweatshirts.

According to The St. Louis Review, the sweats include a Holy Spirit Adoration Sisters logo with "the community's name above a monstrance containing the Eucharist. . . machine-embroidered in maroon and gold on the left breast of each sweatshirt."

Sister Mary Gemma told the Review that sweatshirt sales have been strong - and that the cloistered, contemplative community intends to follow up with sales of T-shirts and "Come, Holy Spirit" coffee mugs.
