The homes are the second phase of construction for Palm Place, in the Hamilton Heights neighborhood in north St. Louis.

Also participating, but not shown shoveling, were Jill Claybour, St. Louis Community Development Administration; Reverend Harold Butler, Northern Missionary Baptist Church; and Shavette Wayne-Jones, Hamilton Heights Neighborhood Organization.

The ground-breaking was hosted by the Hamilton Height Neighborhood Association.
