Al MacInnis, the last player ever to wear sweater No. 2 for the St. Louis Blues, will be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame on Monday. It is an honor that he well deserves.

During ten seasons with the Blues, MacInnis’s leadership, competitive spirit, and killer slapshot made him a fan favorite. He remains an important part of the hometown team, serving as the Blue’s Vice President of Hockey Operations.

MayorSlay.com congratulates him (and Scott Stevens, a former Blue better known for his service on other teams) for joining the Hall’s other ice greats.
