We missed it. Did you?

Lambert Airport formally celebrated the first anniversary of its “Music Spot” live music performance area late last week - and used the occasion to call some attention to its “Lambert Rocks” program, 130 or so rocking chairs in its various seating areas.

The music and the rockers are part of Lambert’s continuing efforts to improve the most tedious parts of its customers’ journeys. Lambert is the 30th busiest airport in the U.S. according to the Airports Council International-North America. Lambert serves more than 15 million passengers a year with more than 330 daily departures to 72 national and international destinations.

(BTW: Residents of Cuba, MO, 83 miles from the Lambert Airport control tower, have claimed possession of the World’s Largest Rocking Chair - a thirteen ton monster - since mid-April.)
