From the home office:

On November 13, 2008, President George W. Bush declared portions of the City of St. Louis a federal disaster area based on the flooding caused by Hurricane Ike. The President’s action makes federal funding available for some affected residents. As a next step, the Federal Emergency Management Agency will send personnel to the City to assist with the application process. When information about that process is available, Public Safety Director Charles Bryson will forward it to members of the St. Louis Board of Aldermen.
