The trash/recycling collection schedule will be adjusted to accommodate Christmas Day observance on Monday, December 26, 2011. Throughout the end of the dormant winter season, yard waste will be picked up once per month from alley dumpsters. Residents with roll-out carts can call to request a special yard waste pickup.

Residents who normally have their trash and/or recycling collected on Monday and Thursday will have their trash collected on Tuesday, December 27th and Thursday, December 29th. The regular schedule will resume the week of January 2nd.

Residents who normally have their trash and/or recycling collected on Tuesday and Friday will have their trash collected on Wednesday, December 28th and Friday, December 30th. The regular schedule will resume the week of January 2nd.

During the winter months, yard waste will be collected monthly from the yard waste alley dumpsters on the same week as the bulk pick-up. Residents with roll-out carts may request a special yard waste pickup by calling the Refuse Division at (314) 353-8877. As always, yard waste should only be collected in the designated yard waste roll-out cart or yard waste dumpsters. Yard waste should not be placed in plastic bags.

Weekly yard waste collection will resume March 7, 2012.
